Do voters need to sign up?
No. Voting is anonymous — they just open the link, listen, and rate. Triple deduplication (IP + browser fingerprint + cookie) keeps results honest without forcing accounts.
How many votes do I need for a useful score?
Thirty or more for statistical signal. The dashboard works from vote one — you'll just see the score stabilize as more votes come in.
Is my song safe?
Yes. Audio streams via signed HMAC tokens (no direct file access), no downloads, no public file URL. Take the song private at any time and the link stops working immediately.
Can I delete fake or low-quality votes?
Yes. Each row in the voters table has a one-click delete that also frees the voter to vote again if you want a real test.
How is the score calculated?
Weighted: music rating 30%, lyrics 15%, Spotify intent 20%, recommend likelihood 15%, listening behavior 15%, style match 5%. Voters who skipped the song don't count toward ratings.
Can I re-upload a new mix?
Yes. Existing votes are kept on the new audio so you can compare iterations against the same audience profile.
